These grain-free dog treats are made with nutritious blueberries, tasty banana and a touch of peanut butter for that drool-worthy factor! Made with grain and gluten free coconut flour for skin and coat health, these yummy doggie biscuits are full of anti-oxidants and vitamins.

These biscuits can be rolled into balls or used as a drop biscuit for a softer biscuit or rolled out and cut into shapes for a thinner, firmer biscuit.

1/2 cup of mashed bananas
4 eggs
Warm water to mix to

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 (c) degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the coconut flour, peanut butter, crushed blueberries, mashed banana, eggs and water. Mix thoroughly, add more water if it is too dry.
  3. Roll out your cookie dough and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes, or place on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper in your size and shape of preference.
  4. Bake in the oven for 22 minutes.

Doggy Recipe: Vegetarian Peanut Butter Crunch

Billy's Review:   Crunchy yum  can smell the peanut butter in these from the other side of the room and come running when mum takes the biscuit jar lid off.  We jump very high for these biscuits.  Mum tried them, wasn't impressed, but we love them !

All Biscuit Billy biscuits are made from the finest human-grade, dog-friendly ingredients.

Adapted from BEST OF BREED DOG BISCUITS
This recipe was adapted from one commonly found across several sites on the web called BEST OF BREED BISCUITS.  We are not sure where it originated from, so if it's yours, please let us know so that we can credit you here. I’ve changed the name tof the biscuit to be a little more descriptive of the ingredients.  I’ve added the word crunch simply because they are very crunchy biscuits!

INGREDIENTS
2 cups wholemeal flour (I use organic)
1 cup rolled oats or oatmeal
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley (for fresh breath)
1/2 cup dry nonfat milk powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup peanut butter (crunchy or plain)
Cold water

METHOD

Preheat oven to 150/300 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients then add the eggs and peanut butter until the mixture is crumbly.
Add enough water to bring to a dough.  Roll out and cut into required shapes.
Bake 40-60 minutes. When cooked, the biscuits should be golden brown, dry and crisp all the way through.

Makes 42-60 biscuits depending on cutter size.
